With the success of Apple’s AirPods, and with the other big players in the headphone game getting in on the wireless bluetooth earphone craze, its hard to see how a lesser-known brand can hope to muscle their way in and find a space in an already saturated market. But with a record amount of backers on crowdfunding website IndieGoGo, the earbuds claiming to be “AirPod killers” are definitely coming out swinging.

Now, I’ve never been one to spend a lot on earphones, tending to use whatever came free with my devices rather than splash out on an expensive pair. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate good quality sound, and have spent big on over-ear headphones in the past. It’s just that earphones always get a bit abused. They tangle up in my pockets, get yanked, bashed, pulled and sat on in transit, and generally never last that long.

We’ve reviewed a variety of items you might want to take along for your workout, primarily in the realm of shoes and fitness watches (most recently, the Polar Vantage M). But what about tunes? As with most people, I like something to listen to, be it music or a podcast, while I work up a sweat. In the past, I’ve just opted for whatever inexpensive bluetooth headset I could find. Alright guys, so I want to recommend a best wireless in ear headphones that I think are kind of unique. Because I think we’ve reached a point that there are so many truly wireless earbuds. If you want your product to stand out, you kind of have to offer something different, because if you don’t have that, Apple logo or Samsung’s name behind it or Beats or something like that, most people won’t pay any attention to you, because it’s not as marketed as some of those other companies. But the one thing to think about when looking at these products is to find out if these are actually useful or are they more just gimmick, is just something that they’re offering to stand out but not something that’s really useful.
